
TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
Regulations in respect of drivers’ hours and rest periods will be adhered to at all times.
Quotations are provided, subject to availability of the vehicle, at the time of booking.
A deposit of 10% or £110 (whichever is greater) is required to confirm any booking. (Vision Travel Limited). We may at our discretion waive the requirement for a deposit but our standard cancellation terms will still apply once a vehicle has been booked. Email confirmation from the Company will be deemed as written confirmation of a booking, subject to these terms and conditions.
By making a booking with the Company, and/or by making any payment, you are deemed to accept these terms and conditions.
Full cleared payment is required prior to departure, except when agreed otherwise and/or noted on the invoice or confirmed by email. Where additional costs are payable, ie ferry/tunnel crossings, accommodation etc., the balance may be due earlier but this will be specified on your confirmation or by email. All bank charges for payments are to be borne by the client. (Where clients have accounts, payment and cancellation terms will be agreed between the parties.)
Cancellations –
Days prior to departure – amounts payable:
Less than 14 days – 10% or £120 (whichever is greater)
Less than 7 days – full cost of hire remains payable
Verbal cancellations are not accepted. In any event, all associated costs paid by the Company in respect of any booking, ie ferry , tunnel costs, accommodation, tickets etc but not limited to these, will remain payable by the Hirer if the Company is not able to recover these costs. Where vehicles have been supplied by 3rd party suppliers, different cancellation terms may apply**
Any amendments or alterations to a confirmed booking must be agreed by Vision Travel Limited (hereinafter called The Company) or may be carried out at the driver’s discretion subject to compliance with all current laws and regulations. An additional charge may be levied, to be paid by the hirer on receipt of invoice. The Company reserves the right to charge waiting time for departures exceeding 15 minutes beyond the agreed times. Waiting time is charged at £20 per half hour and is to be paid by the hirer on receipt of invoice.
All vehicles are non-smoking. Consumption of alcohol is not permitted on any vehicle or able to be carried for transport to and from specified sporting events. No food is to be consumed on the vehicle, unless agreed prior to departure.
The Hirer shall remain responsible for any cleaning necessary as a result of the hire or damage caused to the vehicle by any passenger for which a separate invoice will be raised, to be paid by the Hirer upon receipt.
Pets/animals may only be carried if previously agreed with Vision Travel Limited and the Company accepts no responsibility or liability for any animal. Any cleaning as a result remains the liability of the Hirer.
The Company reserves the right to terminate all services in the event of inappropriate conduct or behaviour, any conduct or behaviour which breaches statutory regulations or in the event of any damage caused to the Company’s vehicles by any passenger. The driver is responsible for the safety of the vehicle and his decision will be final. In the event of services being terminated or passenger(s) being removed from the vehicle due to reasons stated, the Company accepts no liability for alternative transport and no refund will be issued, nor compensation paid.
No vehicle can exceed maximum passenger capacity. The vehicle may not be sub-let and is to be used by the Hirer. Seatbelts on the vehicle must be worn at all times. Any alteration to any journey not previously agreed (and will be carried out at the driver’s discretion) may incur additional charges for which the Hirer will remain liable.
The driver has sole discretion as to which route will be taken in both directions, unless a specific route is agreed beforehand with The Company. The Hirer remains liable for any additional charges in the event that this is changed on the day which will only be at the driver’s discretion.
The Company reserves the right to use a different vehicle to return passengers, to the vehicle that carries them out. The vehicle may be used for other work between drop off and collection and if the vehicle is required to stay with the Hirer between times, this must be agreed by The Company beforehand and may incur additional charges. The Company reserves the right to provide a larger vehicle than that booked.
Where the Company sources a coach from another Operator to provide a larger vehicle than the Company provides, Vision Travel Limited reserves the right to charge an administrative fee, the cost of which will be included in your quotation but not itemised. ** The terms and conditions of the Operator will be applicable to your booking and a copy can be provided upon request. The hirer agrees to indemnify Vision Travel Limited against any breach of these terms and conditions.
The Company reserves the right to substitute any vehicle with a vehicle from another Operator if deemed necessary. In the event of circumstances beyond the Company’s control, a replacement vehicle may be supplied which will be of the highest standard available.
The Company does not accept responsibility nor will be held liable for any loss, damage, inconvenience, injury or death as a result of delay, breakdown or accident where beyond the control of The Company.
The Company does not accept responsibility nor will be held liable for third party services, ie ferry, tunnel, accommodation, meals, tickets etc. and will not be liable for any claims beyond the value of the vehicle hire.
Parking charges, toll costs, airport parking costs are not included in the hire unless agreed with the Company before commencement of the journey. When collecting from airports, ferry ports, train stations, bus stations or coach stations, should your arrival time become significantly different to that scheduled, we cannot guarantee to meet you on arrival but will endeavour to meet you as soon as possible, but this will be subject to availability of vehicle and driver. We cannot guarantee a refund under such circumstances or in the event you choose, or need, to make alternative arrangements as a result of connecting travel delays beyond our control.
The driver will not pick up or drop off at any points where legal parking restrictions are in force and will have sole discretion as to whether any road or location is suitable for the vehicle. In the event any road or location is deemed unsuitable for the vehicle, The Company does not accept any liability for any alteration to the journey or in the event that a journey cannot be completed , or is delayed, as a result.
The Company accepts no responsibility for luggage or personal items which are carried at the owner’s risk. Independent travel insurance and the correct form of documents/visa/passport where applicable is the individuals responsibility and The Company shall not be liable for any losses sustained or alternative travel arrangements necessary as a result of these not being in order, or insurance not being in place. Any supplementary charges which may be levied with regard to European travel as a result of Brexit will be payable by the client , payable on production of invoice.
The company reserves the right to cancel your booking as a result of Force Majeure, National Emergency or any circumstances beyond the Company’s control and will in this instance refund all monies paid without any further liability or obligation.
